Payment, how much will come out and when?

Assuming the student is the only one training from their family and training once a week.

Tiny Tygers (3-4yrs) - £18 per month. Two payments will be taken as soon as you sign up to the direct debit - Annual Membership payment £10 plus a part month payment for the remaining sessions. The next payment will be taken on the first day of the following month.

Junior Tygers (5-8yrs) - £28 per month. Two payments will be taken as soon as you sign up to the direct debit - Annual Membership payment £35 plus a part month payment for the remaining sessions. The next payment will be taken on the first day of the following month.

Beginners Taekwondo (8yrs +) - £30 per month. Two payments will be taken as soon as you sign up to the direct debit - Annual Membership payment £35 plus a part month payment for the remaining sessions.. The next payment will be taken on the first day of the following month.

Can I cancel my payments?
Yes, to cancel payments we need to be informed in writing by the 25th of the month prior.
For example, we would need to know by the 25th June if you wanted to cancel payment from July.

What do I need to wear for the first lesson?
Loose clothing like tracksuit bottoms and a t-shirt. During the restrictions please also wear socks.
Do I need a uniform straight away?
No, uniforms are only needed if you wish to take the gradings (go up to the next belt).
Can I pay per lesson?
We only accept monthly payment for fees via Direct Debit. This will motivate you to train more often and therefore be more successful in your training.
How long do I have to wait to take a grading?
Gradings for the Junior Tygers are every 4 months.Cadets and beginners (aged 8yrs and above) do gradings every 6 months, halve that time if training twice a week.
Are there any breaks in training?
We take one week off during Easter, One week off in the summer holidays and 2 weeks off at Christmas. Some months have 5 training sessions, some months have 3 but on average there are 4 training sessions per month.
Is there a contract to sign?
No, there is no contract and as soon as you wish to stop training, you stop paying. Any payment that is made cannot be refunded.
Can I train more than twice a week?
Yes, you can train as often as you like, extra training sessions require a higher subscription.

Can I enter competitions?
We have a local competition every year. We also visit other National competitions and compete in Sparring and Patterns. Ask your instructor for more information.
